Cosmetic surgery trends grow towards 'natural look'

Over 50s looking to cosmetic surgery as a means of rolling back the years do not necessarily have to dramatically change their look, according to a top surgeon.

Leading Beverley Hills cosmetic surgeon Dr Andre Aboolian has noted a growing trend amongst customers towards more subtle cosmetic adjustments designed to suit the individual's body type.

Dr Aboolian claims that cosmetic surgery is no longer centred around the "bigger is better" mentality, and that it has become more fashionable to use minor tucks and revisions to complement the body's natural look.

He said: "Each woman has a different shape - height, weight, type of curves, etc. In addition to the technique, it is also important to determine what type of implant will better fit her body type."

Last week, the Harley Medical Group told PrivateHealthcareUK that an increasing number of over 50s are following the example of top American stars and using techniques like facelifts and Botox to freshen up their look.
